ABOUT ME

I still vividly remember the first photograph I have took. Armed with a Canon PowerShot point-and-shoot camera that my father owned, I captured an image of a squirrel nibbling on a guava fruit high up on a tree. That moment was more than just a photograph it was my first true connection with the art of photography. The appreciation I received for that simple snapshot fueled a spark that turned into a lifelong passion.

What truly inspired me to continue this journey was the unwavering support from my family who seeing my enthusiasm. One day, my father surprised me with a new camera which is a major upgrade from my previous one. That gift marked the beginning of my serious exploration into the world of photography.

While photography has been my passion for over a decade, I don’t consider myself a highly qualified or expert photographer yet. It's still a hobby I deeply enjoy, and I’m continually working to tighten my skills. There’s always room to grow, and I’m on a constant quest to refine my craft and find my true voice as a photographer. In fact, I still feel that my work has yet to reach the highest quality and finest standards I envision for myself.

One of the challenges I face is the highly competitive nature of this field. There are many talented photographers out there, some with more formal qualifications and expertise.

But rather than seeing that as a setback, it fuels my desire to keep pushing forward and learn from the best.

Another thing I’ve been working through is finding a specific genre within photography that truly resonates with me. As of now, I enjoy experimenting across multiple genres whether it’s capturing sweeping landscapes, intimate portraits, or the spontaneous moments of everyday life. My journey is still evolving, and I’m excited to see where it leads.

Music is another core part of my life. It’s not just a source of inspiration but also a guide for my creative process. I’ve found that music helps me capture moments in ways that words alone can’t express. As I continue to pursue photography with passion, I’ve also shifted my focus to cinema, frames, and cinematography. The art of storytelling through motion has become an area of deep interest for me.

I was working as a Video Editor at a private entity, which has provided me with valuable experience in the world of media and film making. This role complements my photography, allowing me to expand my creative horizons and approach visual storytelling from different angles.
